My girlfriend and I stayed at the Rhea Silvia Spagna for four nights and we cannot be happier with our experience. The location is unbeatable and so is the service, incredibly warm and helpful - held our bags after check out for us as our flight was in the evening. The room had all the mod-cons you’d expect as well as a complimentary minibar that was restocked each day - a really nice touch. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly kind to us, making sure we had a pleasant stay. To us the room was very clean and comfortable. The bed is a little harder than some are used to but for us it was more than comfortable enough, we slept perfectly every night of our stay. The air-con was a life saver. The location is absolutely unbeatable, you are essentially in the middle of the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Trevi fountain (all within 10/15mins walk) as well as being in the centre of the shopping district. On our trip we walked everywhere so it was really nice to have somewhere to easily come back to for a little rest in late afternoon before going out again in the evening with everything at your doorstep! If you plan on walking a lot I cannot emphasise enough how fantastic this hotel will be for you. We thoroughly recommend Rhea Silvia Spagna and will not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Rome.

This place is good value for its location, but it is not without its cons...here is what we thought: Pros: - LOCATION. Super near so many lovely things in Rome. - Staff is friendly - Room design is pretty - Free mini bar snacks (nice touch!) - Good value - We enjoyed the view from our large window. Cons: - This is a strange situation. It is a few rooms inside an old building. I have no idea what is on the other floors - maybe offices? It is not staffed full time. Don't expect a hotel feel...more like a VRBO inside an old office building? I am super comfortable traveling by myself, but I would not want to be here alone even though there are lots of locks between you and the street (you get one key for the building door, one for the elevator, another for the door to the set of rooms, and another to your individual room). - While the design is pretty, the quality is lacking. Our bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close, and the rainfall shower head didn't work properly. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The sheets were scratchy, low quality. - Our wifi was not good.

Cute room, and a really convenient location. As others have mentioned, it is not a hotel but rather a room only. When we were there, the person at the front desk left for the day around 2pm and we were given a number that we could reach her via WhatsApp. The reason for my low rating is their website mentions that in-room breakfast is included, which was the main reason I chose this specific place. Our first morning, we sent a message to the WhatsApp number, and we were informed that there is no breakfast, and there has not been breakfast for a year due to COVID. So in a year they haven't had time to update their website? Because they are dishonest, I DO NOT recommend this place.

The check in was fast and easy, Aira was very welcoming and was so lovely and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was medium firmness and the pillows were so comfortable. The rainfall shower was great after a long day walking in Rome. There is a minibar with soft drinks in the room, which were complimentary, as well as tea and coffee. The location is perfect, very close walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain and not too far from the Pantheon. The area around the hotel is great, with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend!

Just returning from our first trip to Rome. Our stay was amazing, thanks to the hospitality provided by Monica and Elena. Everything just felt right from the first moment. :) We stayed in the Junior Suite, together with our two children. The breakfast was served in the room and contains everything you can wish for. The ladies were always helpful with any kind of requests. (restaurant suggestions, tourist info etc). On top of everything, we were surprised spontaneously with an afternoon aperitivo. Wow! This hotel has a heart and a soul and we really want to recommend you staying there.
